Might be the mentally switching you do on the fly that you dont even notice its happening.
Stuff like getting fired up-on and not returning fire but just running most of the time ends in dying before you can reach a wall or cover.
Try focussing on Pure Offensive based play without any regard to your own safety, youll get more consistent scores.
Its rare for me to go below 20-30 kills a game, even if there are 2 teams on the opposing side, it happens but its more of a fluke
Edit: then later on you can incorperate more defense in your tactics. |

I always play in the EU server, but the lag is very random, sometimes it feels like i playing in a server that is in my living room, other times it feels like i playing in a server in China... The lag compensation is random and ******* unpredictable.
Weird, i am EU too (Belgium) btw

Weird, i am EU too (Belgium) btw The full thing is random as hell .... sometime is can play 2-3 hours with nearly perfect lag and hit detection, other times the game is unplayable for hours. Is almost like the lag compensation "overcompensates" at specific times in the day.
Except for getting dropped in matches that are nearly done or on the end screen, if i do get a new match its pretty lagfree but we have 6M/Bit upload & 120M/Bit down here trough cable in belgium, ping times for most games are trough the roof, ussually they are 20-40ms, in APB R i had a ping of 8ms and the servers werent even in my own country...i cant check on a PS3 but my guess is that my ping times would be really good.
Maybe its your provider ? |

I may agree with all that... except that i do play other games with exactly the same connection and provider, in most games when i play in servers in my own region, i get a constant 30-40 ms ping.... and pretty consistent scores too. I know is a Equipment and SP factor in Dust 514... but this is just FAR to random, it have to be something wrong with the "Lag Compensation". One second i'm an unkillable GOD, the next second i'm the biggest NooB in planet earth ...... 
Cant say what it is then, but with the last setence i made a click...
It happens allot when i take out multiple opponents that just nicks & scratchs my shields, they strafe as if their life depends on it (it does) but i hit em anyway and they die in proto-cakes, then apears one guy in a standard who i can't seem to hit @ all & fire till i overheat my Imperial...and die, 5 minutes later i see the same guy and cream him all over the wall...1 minute later, i miss everything...fired towards the guy again.
hmm might still be hitbox issues ....but my scores still stay very consistent at the end of the day |
